All Profhilo® treatments at STORY Clinics are carried out by Level 7 qualified aesthetic doctors, ensuring the highest standard of care and precision. The treatment involves a series of small, strategically placed injections that deliver high-concentration hyaluronic acid beneath the skin’s surface, where it spreads evenly to hydrate and remodel the skin from within.

Profhilo® can be performed on both the face and neck, providing comprehensive treatment for areas where skin laxity and dehydration are most visible. The procedure is quick, with mild to moderate discomfort that can cause a brief stinging sensation during injection. There is minimal downtime – small bumps at the injection points typically settle within 24 hours. Some clients may experience mild redness or bruising, which fades naturally within a few days.

Why a Course of Profhilo® is Recommended

A course of two Profhilo® treatments is advised because the treatment works gradually to stimulate collagen and elastin production while deeply hydrating the skin. The first session begins this process, improving skin elasticity and moisture, while the second session, usually performed four weeks later, reinforces these effects to maximise firmness and improve overall skin quality. Spacing the treatments allows the skin to respond optimally, helping results last 6-12 months. This two-step approach provides the best long-term outcome for smoother, healthier-looking skin.
