Under-eye concerns can include shadows, eye bags, puffiness, dark circles, pigmentation, and fine lines. During your consultation, one of our expert doctors will carefully assess the structure of your eye area to determine the underlying cause and recommend the most effective treatment for you. In some cases, skin tightening or cheek volumisation may be the best first step to enhance the under-eye area.

If tear trough filler is the right option, we use a subtle ‘less is more’ technique. Overfilled tear troughs can create a bulging or unnatural appearance, but our doctors have the expertise to achieve natural, balanced, and undetectable results.

How do I know if I am suitable for tear trough filler?

Our practitioners will assess your under-eye area and advise whether tear trough filler is appropriate for you. If you’re unable to attend a consultation in person, you can send us photos of your under-eye area for an initial assessment.

You might be a good candidate if you have:

Noticeable hollowness under your eyes
Dark shadows under your eyes
Deep tear troughs

What makes you an unsuitable candidate for Tear Trough?

No hollowing under the eyes (leaving no space for the filler)
Permanent under-eye ‘bags’ or pouches
Very loose skin around the eyes
A tendency for swelling or puffiness around the eyes or upper cheeks that doesn’t resolve within an hour of waking

How long does it take for tear trough filler to settle?

You will notice an improvement immediately after treatment, but the results reach their optimal appearance around 4 weeks once the filler has fully settled.
