Will lip filler change my smile?

Lip filler can have a positive effect on your smile! You may notice that when you smile, your top lip no longer “disappears.” Any changes will depend on your natural lip size and shape, as well as the type of lip filler treatment you receive. Your expert practitioner will work with you to create a bespoke treatment plan, ensuring you continue to look and feel like yourself.

Will my lips feel or look fake?

No! Our goal is for your lips to look and feel as natural as possible. During the first four weeks after treatment, your lips may feel firmer than usual as the filler integrates into the surrounding tissue. We usually advise patients to allow 2–4 weeks for their lips to fully settle and reveal the final results.

How can I avoid a lip ledge?

A lip ledge occurs when filler is placed too close to the lip border. At STORY Clinics, our expert practitioners use advanced techniques to place filler precisely, ensuring smooth, natural contours and avoiding visible ledges. Following your bespoke treatment plan and attending your follow-up appointment also helps maintain the best results.
