HELPS WITH
Nose to mouth lines

Nasolabial folds are the nose to mouth lines that appear and deepen as you age. If pronounced, they can create a tired or sad look to the face, so reducing them with filler is a popular treatment that can produce very effective results.

Our Expertise

At Story we identify and treat the underlying cause of the concern which ensures that your results always look natural. Most people, even babies have nasolabial folds to some extent and therefore eradicating them without considering the impact of this on the whole face is not our way.

By far the most common cause of nasolabial folds is sagging and flattening of the cheeks. Our number one treatment option is a filler cheek lift which not only reduces the nasolabial fold but also improves the overall structure of the face and prevents the fold from deepening further.

If the nasolabial fold also needs treating directly, then we have a cannula only ‘no-needle’ approach, which is the safest and most comfortable treatment technique for this area.

This treatment doesn’t remove natural dimples that appear when you smile (and you wouldn’t want it to!) but it can reduce the dips and shadows that appear in your cheeks as you age.

No, correctly performed treatment will not make your face look puffy.

Yes it is completely normal to have some asymmetry. If this is mild we recommend leaving it as it is (perfect symmetry is not necessarily more beautiful), if it is significant then it can be reduced during treatment.

No this isn’t necessary unless your cheeks have started to sink or flatten.  If your cheeks have started to show ageing changes then nose to mouth lines will soon follow and so it is an appropriate time to have preventative treatment.

Yes they will – you would look strange and unnatural if they didn’t, even babies have these lines when they laugh or smile! After treatment they will be softer and less deep when you smile.
