Have you had a cosmetic injectable treatment that went wrong? Do you think that you have a ‘botched’ result?  At Story we are experts at correction work and we are here to help you.

Unfortunately, not all clinics out there have the expertise to correct or remove a poor result from the treatments that they perform. Poor results could be caused by a lack of skill, a low-quality product, the wrong product chosen for the area treated, or using too much product. Regardless of the cause, there is a range of treatment options that we can use to improve the appearance of the facial area concerned. Fortunately, the vast majority of fillers used in the UK can be safely dissolved with careful administration of a filler dissolving agent.

Examples of treatment outcomes that we can correct are:

  • Overfilled appearance
  • Swollen tear trough filler
  • Lumpy lip filler
  • Unnatural looking lip filler
  • Uneven or undesirable filler results
  • Unnatural looking eyebrows (the ‘surprised look’)

Yes – The vast majority of fillers used in the UK can be safely dissolved with careful administration of a filler dissolving agent. The few that can’t be fully dissolved can sometimes be partially ‘un-done’.

Yes it will. It may be immediate or it may take some time depending on the scenario. Our Doctors can advise you on how your skin will respond to dissolving fillers in your individual case.

If you are unhappy with a treatment result then it is best to get in touch with us as soon as possible so that we can offer advice. Sometimes waiting up to 4 weeks before undergoing correctional treatment is required.

Unfortunately not – if you have a filler result that you are not happy with we don’t recommend waiting and hoping that it will dissolve quickly naturally. Sometimes filler that has not been administered correctly can last years and so it is best to come and get it dissolved and corrected.

To a degree yes – some results can be corrected easily, others are harder to correct fully. Please discuss your situation with us and we will advise.
